You have to be a little careful with celebrating the % positive numbers


when you've switched from testing just people who are very obviously sick to testing people who might be sick. If you did two samples on the same day but with those two completely different samples, they'd have wildly different % positive results, yet be describing the same population.

My point being, you can't meaningfully compare two data points based on very different samples.
